Miners Conclude Action in Cherry and Silver Invitational

Endurance Abinuwa takes her second consecutive crown at the Cherry and Silver Invitational.

2011: Indoor: Took silver in the 800m clocking in a time of 2:12.59 at the Conference USA Championships ... finished third at the UNM Invitational in the 800m with a time of 2:16.32 ... recorded a time of 2:23.17 at the Lobo Open taking first-place in the 800m ... part of the 4x400m relay team that finished seventh with a time of 3:52.89.

Outdoor: Posted a season-best time of 2:10.29 in the 800m at the Payton Jordan Invitational ... finished in fourth-place in the 800m at the C-USA Championships recording a time of 2:10.36 ... took silver at the Texas Tech Invitational in the 800m crossing the finish line with a time of 2:14.17 ... participated in the 4x400m relay at the conference championships (3:44.89).

2010 (Sophomore): Indoor:Competed at the Texas Tech Invitational where she placed fourth in the 600-yard run with a time of 1:26.35 ... part of the 4x400m relay team that took the silver medal during the Conference USA Championships with a time of 3:46.83.

Outdoor: Claimed her first career top finish in the 800m at the UTEP Invitational with a season best 2:12.43 ... was fourth in the event at the Springtime Invitational, 2:20.61.

2009 (Freshman): Outdoor: Seventh in the 400-meter run (58.00) at the Springtime Invitational ... clocked in a season best 2:17.77 in the 800 meters at the Don Kirby Invitational for bronze ... fifth at the UTEP Invitational in the 800m, 2:29.45 ... finished 11th in the 800m with a time of 2:19.21 at the Springtime Invitational.

Before UTEP: Named to the 2007 Indoor and Outdoor All-City Metro teams...the 2008 Indoor State Champion in the 500-meter...Second Team All-City selection in 2008...also lettered in cross country.
