03/23/2013 Miners Kickoff Season on a High NoteThe UTEP track and field team concluded their first meet of the outdoor season at the UTEP Springtime meet. 01/17/2013 Miners Open Season at the Cherry and Silver InvitationalThe UTEP track and field team will open the indoor season at the Cherry and Silver Invitational. Before UTEP: Finished fifth in the high jump and triple jump at the NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championship with marks of 1.65m and 12.02m, respectively ... registered a personal best of 4.81m in the long jump at the Pima Aztec Indoor Invitational ... earned a silver and bronze medal at the NJCAA Region I Track and Field Championships in the triple jump (12.03m) and high jump (1.65m), respectively ... took first at the Arizona Indoor Relays in the triple and high jump ... claimed second place in the high jump at the ACCAC Mesa with a jump of 1.65m ... won gold in the triple jump at the 2011 NJCAA Region I Track and Field Championships. Personal: Daughter of Helid and Ramon Barsey ... earned her associates of science from Central Arizona College.
