The UTEP track and field teams head to Birmingham, Ala., this weekend to compete in the 2012 Conference USA Indoor Championship.

2011: Indoor: Finished fifth in the high jump with a mark of 1.67m (5-05.75) at the Conference USA Championships ... posted a season-high jump of J1.68m (5-06.00) in the high jump at the Texas A&M Invitational ... took third at the Lobo Open in the high jump (1.65m).

Outdoor: Posted a season-high jump of 1.70m (5-07) finishing first at the Texas Tech Open ... tied for sixth-place at the C-USA Championships in the high jump with a mark of 1.65m (5-05) ... at the Texas Relays tied for third-place in the high jump posting 1.65m (5-05).

2010: Indoor:Finished fourth in the high jump at the Conference USA Championships with a season-best jump of 1.70m (5-07), the jump ranks eighth all-time in UTEP history.

Outdoor: Claimed three high jump titles through the season ... posted a season high mark of 1.69m (5-06.50) at the Don Kirby Invitational.

Lindenwood University: 2009 Indoor: Placed second in the high jump in the NAIA ... won the Kansas Relays.

Personal: Tako is the daughter of Alima and Cheikh Niare ... majoring in Accounting ... has one brother (Sidihi, 22) and one sister (Fatou, 25) ... born in Pairs, France.
