EL PASO, TexasThe Miner Athletic Club will recognize season ticket holders and donors during the upcoming home men's basketball conference games as a thank you for their financial support.

The Miner Athletic Club (MAC) is the fundraising arm of UTEP Athletics consisting of alumni, fans, former student-athletes, coaches and friends joined together to provide current student-athletes with a first-class education and a chance to excel both in the classroom and on the playing field.

During home conference games a random season ticket holder will be selected to be recognized during halftime. Each donor recognized will receive a limited edition UTEP mini basketball signed by head men's basketball coach Tim Floyd as a thank you for their support.

"Many of our loyal donors are season ticket holders for both football and basketball" said Chris Park, Associate Athletic Director for Development and External Relations. "Donations to the Miner Athletic Club included with season tickets and outright gifts are the lifeblood for offsetting the costs of UTEP student-athlete scholarships."

In addition to supporting scholarships, there are many benefits to being a MAC donor including priority seating through season tickets at football and men's basketball, staying connected through weekly MAC e-mails, exclusive invites to special events and much more.

Becoming a new MAC donor is easy. Contributions can be paid in full or set up for monthly payments with your season tickets. For more information, contact the Miner Athletic Club office at (915) 747-8759 or by e-mail at mac@utep.edu. You may also donate at minerathleticclub.com.
