Student-Athlete Opportunity Fund (SAOF)

The Student-Athlete Opportunity Fund is a fund developed by the NCAA intended to provide direct benefits to student-athletes or their families as determined by conference offices. As a guiding principal, the fund shall be used to assist student-athletes in meeting financial needs that arise in conjunction with participation in intercollegiate athletics and enrollment in an academic curriculum. All student-athletes, including international, are eligible to receive SAOF benefits regardless of whether they are financial aid recipients or no longer participate due to medical reasons.

To Apply:

Complete 10 hours of community service through the Life Skills department
Complete 2 hours of programming through the Life Skills department
Turn in receipts to Irma Baeza at the Brumbelow Building on campus, (915) 747-6806
