The San Antonio, Texas, native joins UTEP after serving in a similar capacity at Eastern Washington University (2008-11), working mainly with the women's soccer and women's golf teams. Previously, she was at Samford University (2006-08), assisting with football. Jones earned an undergraduate degree in athletic training, to go along with a minor in psychology from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2006. She then went on to secure a master's degree in health education from UAB in 2008.
