Jordan Johnson came to UTEP in the spring 2009. At UTEP, he is directly responsible for program design and implementation for the women's soccer and softball teams, as well as assisting with football.

Prior to coming to the Sun City, Johnson worked as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Ole Miss University from spring 2008 to spring 2009.

While at Ole Miss, Johnson worked directly with the men's football and baseball team. He also implemented the strength program for the men's golf team.

Before his time with the Rebels, Johnson was a graduate assistant strength coach at fellow SEC school Arkansas. He worked with football and baseball.

Johnson got his start at Texas Tech University, serving as an intern and student assistant with the football team from 2005-07.

Throughout his career, Johnson has been afforded to opportunity to help train some highly-regarded student-athletes. Included among them are All-Americans Darren McFadden, Felix Johnson, Michael Crabtree and Graham Harrell.

Johnson earned a degree in exercise and sports science from Texas Tech University in 2007. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist by the NSCA, as well as a strength and conditioning coach certified by the CSCCA. Additionally, he is certified by USA weightlifting as a sports performance coach.
