Nathan Jeffery, Football
Nathan Jeffery rushed for 174 yards on 24 carries while scoring a pair of touchdowns in UTEP's game against UCF. It was the fourth 100-yard rushing game for Jeffery this season, the most by a UTEP player since 2009 and is the first Miner with consecutive 100-yard games since the 2009 campaign. Jeffery also registered his second-multiple touchdown performance of his UTEP career against the Knights. The second touchdown was a 69-yard run in the fourth quarter - his second-longest of the season and the fifth-longest rushing play under head coach Mike Price. Jeffery had bursts of more than 10 yards five times, including his 69-yard dash to reach paydirt. Nine of Jeffery's runs were for first down and three came on third down. Jeffery also had one reception for 14 yards and one kickoff return for 21 yards.
