Sept. 21, 2010

Vittatoe became the first quarterback in UTEP history to throw for five touchdowns in a game four times as the Miners thumped Interstate 10 rival NM State, 42-10, on Saturday in the Sun Bowl. Vittatoe completed 19-of-30 passes for 246 yards, connecting with Kris Adams (twice), Evan Davis, Donavon Kemp and Julio Lopez for scores.
