11/3/14Janice Jackson, Women's Track & Field Janice Jackson had a great performance in the 100m hurdles in a regional qualifying meet to punch her ticket to the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The sophomore transfer clocked in at 13.24 in the event, which ranks as the second-fastest time in school history. It also broke her prior personal-best readout of 13.27, which she had posted at the 2012 C-USA Championships.
Anthony Rotich, Men's Track & Field Anthony Rotich turned in a great effort in the men's 3,000m steeplechase to secure a spot in the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The freshman posted a personal-best of 8:49.42 in the event. Rotich took first place in the first heat of the steeplechase and finished second out of 48 of the nation's top runners.
