It was a dash to the finish line as Janice Jackson took third in the women's 100m hurdle finals at Drake Relays. The sophomore clocked in the third-fastest time in school history in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.55. Jackson was also a member of the 4x100m relay team that finished fourth in the finals recording a time of 45.57. Jackson led the 4x100m shuttle hurdle relay, the squad qualified for the finals with a time of 57.49. The relay team was one of four squads that qualified for the shuttle hurdle finals.

Martin Simonsen, Men's Golf

Martin Simonsen earned a spot on the Conference USA All-Tournament team by taking fourth place at the league championship April 22-24 in Texarkana, Texas. Simonsen carded a four-under-par 212 (72-67-73), putting him four strokes behind champion Greg Eason of UCF (70-68-70-208). With a 72.3 stroke average on the year, Simonsen is expected to earn an individual bid to NCAA Regionals when the field is announced on May 7.
