Official Visits

An official visit to a member institution by a prospective student-athlete is a visit financed in whole or in part by the member institution. The institution may pay for the following expenses:

  • Your transportation to and from the college;
  • Room and meals (three per day) while you are visiting the college;
  • Reasonable entertainment expenses.

Before UTEP can invite you on an Official Visit, you will have to provide a copy of your high school transcript and PSAT, SAT, PLAN or ACT test scores as well as register with the NCAA Eligibility Center. The visit will not be approved without these documents. UTEP is committed to eliminating any activities, practices, or conduct that is inconsistent with the values of the institution or NCAA regulations during a prospective student-athletes official visit. Please review the Prospect Informational Form which sets forth the guidelines to be upheld by a prospect while on an official visit.
